Description

Oversight of Distribution Center Asset Protection Program for the enterprise. Responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of physical security program for entire network. Support and counsel distribution management in the design, development, and administration of programs relating to the protection of company assets within distribution centers. Program will be coordinated with DC Operations VPs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate and maintain Asset Protection and Physical Security Program in Distribution Centers to minimize losses due to shrink and intentional acts of harm.
  • Design and implement physical security systems in new DCs to include, alarms, card access systems, cctv and Security Guard contracting.
  • Works with Inventory Accounting, logistics and other finance departments to validate accuracy of inventory and makes recommendations to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and develop Regional Asset Protection Managers for Distribution Network. To include supervision of travel, related budget expense, and oversight of scheduling.
  • Manage budget process for maintenance of existing fixed assets and required new assets in conjunction with DC Maintenance team.
  • Develop and maintain functional partnerships with DC Operations Leadership to achieve company shrink reduction goals and drive process improvements.
  • Process owner of DC Cross Functional Meeting program including oversight of all presentations and related materials for participants and senior leaders.
  • Create and administer AP DC audit process including frequency, scheduling, reporting and follow up of audits.
  • Ownership of SSC Help Logistics Shortage reporting program. Periodic review and assessment of process and undertaking of necessary improvements.
  • Oversight of investigation of suspected dishonesty, fraud and crimes at distribution centers. Ensure appropriate documentation of incidents in the LPMS system. Conduct routine audit and reconciliation of LPMS case management for assigned direct reports.
  • Monitor, analyze, and follow-up on statistical data relating to discrepancies of shipments.
  • Responsible for administration and maintenance of distribution center physical security systems to include alarms, CCTV, and card access.
  • Coordinate security guard contract bids and post orders as required.
  • Interact with traffic department members to audit and analyze paperwork.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, laws and safety issues as related to logistics.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of alarm systems/CCTV & EAS systems
  • Previous Wicklander-Zulawski training
  • 5 years loss prevention experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills
